Lights of the Northwoods collects food items to be shared among our 3 participating area food pantries. Feeding the hungry of the Northwoods is a way for the community to support one another.

Fun Facts

- Rhinelander Area Food Pantry serves over 2,390 people each month and over 1100 households every year
- On average a household can save over $500 a month shopping at Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.
- Rhinelander Area Food Pantry (RAFP) Hodag Kids Programs
- Hodag Monster Meals launched September 2025, a new free monthly meal bag program designed to provide children with consistent access to nutritious foods. Each bag includes fresh items such as milk, eggs, and produce, along with pantry staples and ingredients for quick, healthy meals. Hodag Monster Meals are available or pickup at RAFP from September through June. No registration is required. Bags are for children aged 18 and under.
- Hodag Food Wagon offers a weekly bag of food to children and youth during the summer. In 2025, a the Hodag Food Wagon provided 12,760 meals to kids and teens in just 8 weeks.
