Celebrate the holiday season with a magical displays of lights at Hodag Park. Lights will be on nightly from 5 pm – 9 pm starting Sunday, December 1st 2024 through Wednesday, January 1st. 2025. Enjoy the lights with newly added holiday music and warming bonfires along our lakeside walking path, or choose to view the displays in the comfort of your vehicle by taking the lighted driving path through the impressive tunnel of lights.
Free admission. Collections of food and/or monetary donations will be at the end of the driving path and other locations at the park. Your donations support area food pantries and improve the event success for years to come. Portable restrooms are available for guest use throughout the park.

Hodag Park Pavilion
For three weekends in December, enjoy additional activities in the indoor pavilion next to the Boat Landing Parking lot including a visit with Rhinelander’s Santa and free downloadable photos by Jack Flint*
*Santa will be available for visits and photos all 6 evenings of December 6-7,13-14, and 20-21 from 5pm – 8pm.
Inside the pavilion enjoy concessions for purchase provided by GFWC Rhinelander Woman’s Club, hot beverages & sandwiches, snacks, sweet treats, etc. Outside the pavilion, enjoy music and a warming bonfire.
New Years Day Fireworks Display
Wednesday, January 1, 2025

Hodag Park (590 Rose St., Boom Lake Boat Landing)
Arrive early for a good parking spot!
Start the New Year with a BANG! Fireworks will launch from the center of the park at 7pm sharp. Please arrive early to allow time for parking and follow the event parking staff instructions. Don’t forget to stop in at the pavilion for your hot chocolate and snacks before the firework show!
The light display, including the driving path and the walking path, will be shortened during this time to accommodate the fireworks site area.
*Please note the fireworks are scheduled for the evening of New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1) not New Year’s Eve.
